A Historical Series on the Murals on the Walls of
Holy Comforter-Saint Cyprian Roman Catholic Church

Holy Comforter is the title of the Holy Spirit and this church was built to honor the Holy Spirit. At the center of the church over the altar is a tongue of fire and the words "The Spirit of the Lord fills the Whole Earth" (translated from the Latin text). But how will God accomplish this? One way that God will accomplish this is through the lives of Holy men and women such as the Saints depicted on the walls.

Each month, this series will feature one or two of the Saints that are painted on our church walls (in chronological order) along with historical commentary written by Seminarian Anthony Lickteig.
